Bihar Senior Resident/Tutor Eligibility Criteria 2024
- Vacancy Distribution:
- 40% of the posts will be filled by members of the Bihar State Health Service Cadre.
- 40% of the posts will be filled by doctors who have completed postgraduate degree programs (under the Residency Scheme) from state medical colleges.
- 20% of the posts will be filled by doctors with postgraduate degrees (Residency Scheme) from recognized institutions outside the state.
- Educational Qualification:
- The minimum required qualification is a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject.
- In case of a shortage of qualified candidates, candidates with a diploma in the relevant subject may also be considered. Such candidates will be awarded an additional 10 marks, but their ranking will be below those with postgraduate degrees.
- Equivalent Degrees:
- Candidates with equivalent postgraduate degrees as per the Medical Council of India (MCI) teacher eligibility qualifications are also eligible for selection.
