The Government of India, Ministry of Railways, is inviting online applications for the position of Sub Inspector (SI) in the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) for a total of 452 vacancies under CEN No. RPF 01/2024. Eligible Indian citizens can apply online at the RPF recruitment website from April 15, 2024, until the last date of application on May 14, 2024. |

- Scheduled Caste (SC): 57 male and 10 female

RPF SI Physical Measurement Test 2024
- For Unreserved (UR), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and Other Backward Classes (OBC):
- Male: Height – 165 cm; Chest – 80-85 cm
- Female: Height – 157 cm; Chest – Not applicable
- For Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST):
- Male: Height – 160 cm; Chest – 76.2-81.2 cm
- Female: Height – 152 cm; Chest – Not applicable

RPF SI Physical Efficiency Test 2024
- For Male Candidates:
- 1600 meters run: Complete in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- Long jump: 12 feet
- High jump: 3 feet 9 inches
- For Female Candidates:
- 800 meters run: Complete in 4 minutes
- Long jump: 9 feet
- High jump: 3 feet
(Note: There is no requirement for the 1600 meters run for female candidates.) |
